Missing the Point

19th century CDV. Somehow I'm more interested in her than him. Here's a little bit about being a "target girl."

  1. Throwdini, the master of impalement arts, very clever. I had a friend back in the early 80's who was a circus acrobat and she have the most amazing parties. Philippe Petit would get drunk and walk the wire she had strung up in her loft and there'd be crazy jugglers competitions.

Don't know anybody nearly as interesting as those people now. And they might not even be either, since they've gotten older too. Ah, well.

  2. Great story. Petit's a madman.

Your lament reminds me, I need more friends who don't act their age.

  3. I know, I can't understand how we turned into old farts. Well, maybe not me, I'm more like that eccentric old lady that the neighborhood kids are scared of, although, I must admit all the little dogs like me.
